Growing Lavender is one of the most amazing plant to grow!! Its sight and smell is like heaven and the benefits is a must to include in your garden, but can be most difficult to grow in Georgia if you don't know our tips. Join us for this Lavender 101 workshop (select date below) and learn how you too can grow Lavender in your backyard.
In this class, we will take a close look in our fields to see, touch, smell, and learn first hand the different Lavender varieties that grow well in the South, soil preparation, maintenance, how to harvest and when, and Lavender's benefits. Participants will also learn what you can make from Lavender and will receive a free Lavender plant to get you started. You will also receive a take home notebook with all we cover in class.
Space is limited to only 8 people and classes fill up fast. Many people have tried to grow Lavender in Georgia's acidic soil and high humidity and always fail. See how you can be successful and truly enjoy this miracle herb in your own garden.
Time: class will last 1 hour, but will have 30 minutes extra if needed for more questions.
