Photographs are a wonderful way to remember your visit to Red Oak Lavender Farm. We encourage our regular guests to take pictures with their own cell phone- but be sure to tag us on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and please link us or hashtag us. We love to see our visitors at our farm!
We allow photography on the farm Only during business hours: Wednesday - Friday 11-3pm and Saturday 10-4pm. We do not offer professional photographers session times to book after or before our shop hours any longer. We had booked times in the past and they cancel due to rains in their area and not raining here, any other reasons which make it difficult. It just takes way too much time from our busy schedule. *Note: If you do a commercial shoot, family session, wedding, or engagement shoot on the farm at all we do require a small fee. Please contact us to let us know you are doing this and to find out the fee. Again no shoots will be allowed after or before shop hours.
Aerial Photography/Video: The use of drones or any aerial vehicle are strictly prohibited unless we give written permission. We want our visitors to be relaxed and have a quiet setting and enjoy their trip to our lavender farm.
Artists: You are more than welcome to join us during regular business hours and there is not a fee to paint in the fields. Be advised that the farm is a working farm and the use of farm equipment may be used during your stay. Also understand that the 'spot' you decided to set-up at, may not be suitable for the working part of the farm and you may be asked to move. Just please let us know when you would be arriving when and it must be during our regular store hours.
We ask that if you get a particularly good shot on the farm, that you share it with us for use on our Facebook page or Instagram. And add it to our Google page with any good reviews.
Red Oak Lavender Farm reserves the right to refuse admittance for photography and/or change its photo policy without advanced notice. Some areas of the farm may not be available the day of your visit due to unforeseen circumstances. Thank you!
